Safe House Project’s mission is to increase survivor identification beyond one percent through education, provide emergency services and placement to survivors, and ensure every survivor has access to safe housing and holistic care.
To date, SHP has trained over 300K people, provided emergency services to 788 survivors, and added 479 new beds in safe house programs to provide restorative care to trafficking survivors. All because of the generous support of people like you!
Keynote Speaker
Alia Azariah
Alia is a national leader in the field of survivor care. She is the host of the monthly webinar series "Empowerment Exchange". She educates hundreds of organizational leaders, policymakers, and law enforcement officials on issues, best practices, and solutions surrounding the needs of trafficking survivors. Alia has spoken at various conferences around the nation, sharing her own story as a survivor of underage sex trafficking and adult sexual exploitation and how she found healing and restoration. Alia is the Director of Aftercare for Safe House Project and also a former member of the California State Commercial Sexual Exploitation of a Child (CSEC) Advisory Board. She believes restorative care is essential to the healing of those who have experienced sexual exploitation and that no survivor is ever too far or too gone to find complete healing.
