Safe House Project’s mission is to increase survivor identification beyond one percent through education, provide emergency services and placement to survivors, and ensure every survivor has access to safe housing and holistic care by accelerating safe house capacity and development across America.
Our vision is to unite communities to end domestic sex trafficking and restore hope, freedom, and a future to every survivor.
The square symbol is inspired by an icon used during the Underground Railroad, where people united to set the captives free. It was a symbol of hope indicating that a captive had finally reached a Safe House on their journey to freedom!
We have helped add 371 beds in 23 programs in 18 states, as well as mentored programs in 23 states.
Training has been deployed to over 250K people, empowering them to spot, report, and prevent trafficking.
SHP has provided 290 survivors emergency services, housing placement, or escape opportunities.
Safe House Project works with 91 corporations to effectively identify survivors and invest in their future.
safe house project impact across America
together for good
This is not an issue that is going to be solved by one person, one organization, or one institution, but rather it is about communities uniting to stand in the gap for the vulnerable, people choosing to see the issue, and lives being transformed.
Thank you for being part of bringing hope, freedom, and a future to survivors.
